Artist in Residence – Cabin
Ismail Khokon
18th October – 2nd November
Ismail Khokon was Artist in residence at the Artcore Gallery Cabin, where he made beautiful Diwali inspired works that were displayed during the Diwali Party on Tuesday 2nd November. Ismail took over the Cabin by covering it in bright and vibrant folk art and Diwali inspired works.

Artists in Residence
Lisa Selby & Dudley
9th August – 30th October
Nottingham-based artists Lisa Selby and Dudley were selected for a Collaborative Project Bursary, in partnership with New Midland Group, where Lisa and Dudley have created new work with a focus on changing public perceptions around addiction and incarceration. The artists chose to use this period to care for themselves through practice.
This residency has been supported by the New Midland Group Development Programme. New Midland Group is a consortium of three artist-led organisations located in Nottingham: Backlit, One Thoresby Street and Primary.

Artcore had a fantastic time hosting SPOOKFEST, a Halloween celebration including artist performances, live music, magic and much more!
Performers included Joseph Winsborrow, Eden M-W and Flowers Collective.
